I started DJing in the early '90s on classic Technics turntables—which I still have today. After taking a break to raise a family, I picked it back up about 7 years ago. Now I spin for fun, teach my kids the art, and bring the party to schools, weddings, and private events. As my wife says, I’ve got too much gear not to be doing this professionally—so here we are.
My Story

Music has always been a part of me.
​
I started DJing back in the early '90s, spinning vinyl on my trusty Technics 1200s. Those turntables—pictured here with a fellow DJ friend from 1991—still sit in my studio today. I don’t take them out to gigs anymore, but they’re a reminder of where it all began: house parties, garage mixes, and the thrill of making people move to music.
Like many, life eventually took over. I stepped away from the decks as careers and kids came along. But about seven years ago, the itch returned—and this time, I brought my kids into the mix. Teaching them the art of DJing, beatmatching, and crate digging has given this passion new life.

As my wife likes to say:
"You have way too much gear to be a stay-at-home DJ."
As I've learned over the many years, she’s not wrong.

So I started sharing my sound again—at school dances, private parties, weddings, and community events. What started as a nostalgic return has evolved into BeaverSpin Entertainment—my way of blending professionalism, fun, and a deep love for the music.

Whether I’m spinning the classics, curating custom playlists, or teaching the next generation how to drop the beat, I bring decades of experience and heart to every event.
